Gears of War: Exile will never see the light of day. Rumoured to be a Kinect title, Cliff Bleszinski, the designer director of the developer, Epic Games, said in a recent interview with Gamespot that the game has officially been cancelled.
“Let’s just bury the hatchet now,” he said. “Gears of War: Exile was an unannounced game that I can’t give any details about that has since been cancelled.”
Xbox 360 World Magazine said the title was to be officially unveiled at the 2011 Electronic Entertainment Expo.
Don’t give up hope though, if you haven’t already gotten it, Gearheads are still able to get the recent DLC, “Forces of Nature” that has added five new maps, including two remakes from the previous games, all of which contain a theme of strong weather activity.
