The long awaited release for one of the most anticipated MMO titles of this year is over! Blizzard has announced that Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is now officially live in the NA region. To celebrate the release Blizzard have announced a reward for WoW players with the World of Warcraft Hearthsteed mount, given to all players with a Battle.net account that play 3 matches of Hearthstone.
The official release also sees the launch of a brand new update that brings with it many features and balance changes requested by the community. Arguably the most important changes involve Ranked Play, including adjustments to the start of season ranking system and rewards. The recently revealed Golden Heroes are now available along with the opportunity to unlock new designs for the back of your deck. Minor adjustments have been made to Nat Pagle and Tinkmaster Overspark but Blizzard has confirmed that large-scale changes to cards will now only be deployed if seen as “absolutely necessary”. A few other changes have also been introduced including the ability to reconnect if you’re booted out of a match.
