Piranha Games and InfiniteGame Publishing have announced MechWarrior Online. With a tentative release date of around late 2012 not much else is known about the game. Over three years ago Piranha Games was ?rebooted? and announced it was working on the MechWarrior title in 2009. And in early 2011 they obtained the rights to the MechWarrior IP. MechWarrior Online is being developed as a PC title and will employ a free to play / microtransaction revenue system.
