Storyline
: EverQuest II is set on the fictional world of Norrath five hundred years after the The Planes of Power storyline of the original EverQuest game. The gods withdrew from the world in retaliation for mortal incursions into their planes. On Norrath itself, Dark Elves and the Orcs destroyed much ofFaydwer; while the Ogres, Goblins, Orcs, and Giants ravaged Antonica. Transport and communication to the moon Luclin were cut off.The storyline says that 100 years ago, the continent of Antonica was ripped apart into smaller islands, which are now called the Shattered Lands. The oceans became impassible, preventing contact between the continents of Norrath. Fifteen years ago, the moon Luclin exploded and parts of the Shattered moon remain in the sky.EverQuest II takes place in what is called the Age of Destiny. In this setting, Queen Antonia Bayle of Qeynos is a benevolent sorceress who welcomes all goodly races to her city to help rebuild Norrath. The Overlord of Freeport, Lucan D’Lere, a centuries-old fallen paladin, rules the evil races in his plans of conquest.

Features: Over 5,000 creatures to battle and more than 8,000 quests to complete with hundreds of gorgeous, expansive and dangerous environments to explore.Twenty playable races, some familiar such as Humans, Dwarves, Ogres and Gnomes, others unique such as Froglok, Iksar and Ratonga.Thirteen classes with many subclasses to branch into, each with unique skills. Achetypes are typical to MMO’s with Tanks, Damage Dealers, Magic Users, Healers and Support types, many with original twists on them. There are both PvP and PvE servers. Both servers allow players to enjoy story driven adventures as they battle non-player characters/enemies across Norrath for experience and loot. On a PvE server, players can explore freely without being attacked by a member of the opposing faction (another player). You may still fight against other players on a PvE server, but it is completely consensual. On a PvP server, a member of the opposing faction can attack you at any time in contested zones.EverQuest II includes a number of opportunities for you to join with others to explore, fight and socialize. If you have a Silver or higher membership, you are able to form your own guild and invite friends to join. Anyone who plays EverQuest II can join a guild. Guilds can group together as well as participate in raids and PvP battlegrounds. Plus, with the new Dungeon Finder tool, there are many areas throughout the game where you can meet and join with others randomly to fight as a team in a specific dungeon.EverQuest II remains one of the greatest MMO games of all time due to its awesome support system and flawless game mechanics and is well worth checking out as free to play at first. Gold membership awaits you if you love the game like so many before you!
