ArtCraft Entertainment’s highly anticipated flagship MMO, Crowfall, promises to offer MMO fans an entirely new way to enjoy online gaming as the developers today announced that the crowdfunding efforts have raised over $3 million, bringing the total of funding available to $10 million.
“Over 18 months ago, Crowfall became one of the top 20 video game crowdfunding projects of all time, collecting almost $1.8m from over 16,000 backers. We continue to see amazing growth, with new backers joining our community every month.” Gordon Walton, President and Executive Producer at ArtCraft Entertainment
Crowfall hopes to distinguish itself from the crowd with a unique setting and combination of features. Described as a Throne War Simulator players will fight in a world where kings, queens, assassins and mercenaries fight for supremacy through diplomatic, economic and military channels.
“It’s amazing that we crossed this milestone just days before the first public test of our persistent world server. Until now, we’ve been limited to testing modular systems like combat or castle destruction. This is our first chance to play the game in a large, sprawling game world and for days instead of hours.” J. Todd Coleman, ArtCraft Entertainment CEO and Chief Creative Officer.
