Electronic Arts have just unveiled the celebration events planned for the 4th birthday of their comical MMO third-person shooter, Battlefield Heroes. Since its release 4 years ago Battlefield Heroes has become one of the most successful free-to-play MMO games on the internet today. The combination of whacky guns and abilities, comical art work and intense vehicular combat has proven popular among both Battlefield veterans and players new to the franchise.
The event sees two brand new items added to the game in the form of the 4th Anniversary National Cake and 4th Anniversary Royal Cake. Players are tasked with launching these cakes at enemy players and vehicles for the chance to win free premium currency. Players skilled enough to be able to hit 30 enemies with their birthday cake of choice will be rewarded with 1500 Play 4 Free funds. They have also released new birthday event t-shirts and ties for both sides of the battlefield.
The new birthday event is set to expire at the end of this month so if you want to get some free Play 4 Free funds, you’d better be quick about it!
