MMOGAsia today announced that the eagerly anticipated open beta for the upcoming war-hungry MMO, Kingdom Under Fire II, will be launching later this week. Previous beta events have been filled with confusion due to the currently extensive IP restrictions placed on users depending on their geographical location. Warnings were placed on the website informing players that they would not be able to participate unless the beta was available in their region.
You’ll be happy to hear that the next beta event will be available to North American and European players. The Kingdom Under Fire II open beta is set to launch this Thursday, May 22nd at 15:00 (GMT+8)
This is the first beta event in which the developers have said there will be no data wipes so any progress made during the event can be carried to the full release. You can download the client ahead of time on the official website.
