The world?s most-played video game has a brand new world champion. A team from Taiwan called the Taipei Assassins has won the League of Legends World Championship Finals and the fantastic lump sum of $1 million dollars in prize money that comes along with it.
On Saturday, October 13th, the Taipei Assassins took on the South Korean team, Azubu Frost at Galen Center in Los Angeles. Both teams of five men were set to battle against each other in a best-of-five competition. The Taipei Assassins beat the Azubu Frost three games to one, losing their first game and coming back strong winning three games in a row.
