Hi-Rez Studios today released a new video showcasing the highlights in the latest update for their increasingly popular free MOBA game, SMITE. Sadly we weren’t treated to another God release this week but there’s still plenty to get excited about.
The focus of the latest update is the complete graphical overhaul of the Conquest map. The layout and general design of the map remain unchained but practically every area has been reskinned with new, more detailed textures. The Phoenix, Minotaur and Fire Giant have also been treated to a special makeover.
Accompanying the fresh look of SMITE is a fresh look for Ra and Anubis as they’re the latest God’s to receive the Golden Skin treatment. A few spectator changes also made it into the update, making it easier than ever to analyze your play or view your favorite matches.
