War Thunder is hoping to garner a little more thunder with their release on Steam. Although the game already boasts over 3 million players, being placed on the popular Steam community will almost surely mean those numbers will rise. Included with the launch on Steam, Gaijin Entertainment released a special content pack called the War Thunder Steam Pack. The content pack includes two new premium airplanes, two single player campaigns, a premium account for 30 days and more.
War Thunder is still in open beta, but players have been raving about the polished gameplay and design. War Thunder is battling head on with Wargamings World of Warplanes, and it’ll be interesting to see who brings in the most players. The next step for the team at Gaijin Entertainment is to get their game ready for the Playstation 4.
