Square Enix today announced the released of a new tier of Veteran Rewards for the increasingly popular Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. The latest addition to the community favorite Veteran Rewards sees a ninth tier added that includes a dangerously cute Nanamo minion and a slightly less cute Fat Chocobo Head.
As with previous Veteran Rewards, the Nanamo minion and Fat Chocobo Head will only be available to players that have met the required length of subscription time – which totals at 630 days for the two new items.
The Veteran Rewards program has proven to be a hugely positive incentive for players to continue their subscriptions in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, with periodic rewards offered through accumulated subscription. Players do not have to log in or play the game to accumulate days, each day that an account is subscribed counts towards all of the Veteran Rewards.
A word of caution. Make sure you keep tabs on Veteran Reward items as the developers have said they will not replace those accidentally destroyed or thrown away.
