Hi-Rez Studios welcome the latest addition to the SMITE battlefield today with the release of the sly messenger, Ratatoskr. And no, I have no idea how to pronounce that. The true origins of Ratatoskr remain unknown to this day but it has been said that the God of gossip resided in the World Tree since time immemorial.
Now set to tackle SMITE’s toughest God’s with a barrage of acorns, scalable damage and varying builds that can be vastly improved based on purchases of Acorns from the in-game store. In true SMITE fashion the team released another high-quality God reveal video highlighting the many abilities and potential applications in combat for Ratatoskr.
Additionally the developers today also announced an exciting Summer of SMITE event that’ll feature a host of exclusive items alongside free non-exclusive items to accompany each purchase. Starting today players can now purchase the exclusive Hunkules Hercules skin and a new adorable icon, Sharky. Every purchase during the Summer of SMITE counts towards bonus rewards applied at 2, 4 and 6 purchases. Summer of SMITE will also be making an appearance on Xbox One soon.
