Here at MMO Attack we love games. It’s what we do. We eat, drink, breathe, and sleep gaming. We’re always on the look out for the next big thing so we can give our audience the rundown. And, yes, also because we’d be playing them anyway. That’s why we put together our MMO Games list. Here you will find links to pages filled with some of the very best games out today. You’ll find games of all types too: MMOs, adventure games, strategy games and literally everything in between.

There are a number of reasons why we put together these pages. First, we want them to become a valuable resource for gamers to help them do what they do best–play. But we also wanted to signal that the the gaming industry is growing and changing. Most of the games you find here, whether they’re MMOs, MOBAs, Browser or console based–will be free-to-play and incredibly accessible. Afterall, you don’t need to drop $60 to gain entry to a decent game. In fact, the gaming industry is becoming more agile and inclusive for gamers all over the world.

And despite many of the games listed here being completely free-to-play, you’ll still find some of the most inventive and enthralling games on the market today. Take League of Angels II for example. League of Angels is a franchise that’s constantly pushing the boundaries of how a browser MMO can be defined, as well as what they’re capable of. You’ll see a similar approach to game design in Paladins, a hero shooter for PC and next gen consoles by Hi-Rez, the company behind SMITE. Paladins is a unique and fun entry to a genre that’s been blowing up since the release of Overwatch. And like League of Angels, it too is completely free to play.

As Gaia Interactive’s first game in the mmorpg market. zOMG! Was a new and unique mmorpg where you did not use a new character you used your gaia online character.  While traveling the world of zOMG! you will find a lot of charming and cool monsters and some famous npcs from gaia online. You can also find out more about the story of zOMG! from the manga. While doing missions and killing  monsters you will find random items like sticks that are used to craft outfits for your gaia online character you can also get some new gear from doing missions in zOMG!.

The game play is a basic wasd arrow keys or point and click. With 8 slots for rings allowing for a lot of cool Strategies they do use the basic hot keys 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8. But sadly there is not a pvp system yet. Also the monsters are way too aggressive at the start. But besides that this game is one of the Best Social mmos out there i recommend you give it a try.

Zombie Pandemic (ZP) is all about content — something that Pixel Pandemic Games delivers on in full force. The game boasts over 8,000 locations spanning three different maps, 500 weapons and 150 zombie types. All of this comes to you 100% free-to-play.

ZP is a text-based browser game which requires more thought than the standard run-and-gun zombie games currently on the market. Every action in the game requires the use of Action Points. Theses points, which refill at a set rate over time, are used to navigate to new locations, attack enemies and to loot found goods. Players must plan their moves carefully so as to not find themselves stranded in a zombie hot spot.

Various NPC factions are also scattered about, offering a safe place of rest and an opportunity to purchase new items and sign up for missions. While experience from battle is used to level up your character and their customizable traits, various NPCs also offer training sessions to give your stats an extra boost for fighting the zombie hoard.

Combat is a turn-based system based on stats. To add depth to the battles, various components such as distance from target and weaponry factor in to deal an amount of damage that corresponds to each unique scenario.

The free-to-play zombie game features a top-down perspective of different blocks of the city. All the visuals are fully illustrated giving great detail and style, and every item is examinable. Zombie Pandemic offers an MMO experience that is vastly different than your typical MMO which should serve as a breath of fresh air for most zombie apocalypse gamers.

[/review]Yitien is an all-new 2.5D browser-based RPG. Players travel through Yuan Dynasty, China on a quest to master the secrets contained on two ancient kung-fu scrolls. The beauty of the game is its versatility. It includes traditional RPG elements, such as guilds (clans), single-player and MP dungeons and an Arena, along with several interesting new twists.

XAM is a free to play next-generation MOBA game from new developer, LLC AnnGames. The best things about the MOBA is the team-fights, and the team hopes to make the team-fights in XAM as fun as possible. The rounds in XAM last only as long as 10 minutes, and refused to add anything to the game to distract players from the battlefield, like farming, mobs, item management and leveling up.

The basics of the game are extremely simple, you control only your character and your 6 abilities. They use a ground-target system, which means your abilities will not hit the enemies automatically, which means you must plan your attacks and make sure enemies can’t dodge them. In XAM, the skill of the player is the most important aspect, and will be the reason your team wins.

As the game is currently in Early Access, the gameplay and mechanics may change significantly. At the time of this writing the game has 8 characters and 3 different arenas.

World of Warcraft (WoW) is a Fantasy MMORPG developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. Set in the Warcraft universe, World of Warcraft takes place on the world of Azeroth. It currently features four expansions; The Burning Crusade, Wrath of Lich King, Cataclysm, and Mists of Pandaria. Over seven million people have subscribed to World of Warcraft, making it the largest MMORPG ever released.

Players can chose from two factions in World of Warcraft; the Horde and the Alliance. The Horde (aka the “bad guys”) is made up of Orcs, Trolls, the Undead, the Tauren, Blood Elves and Goblins. The Alliance (aka the “good guys”) is comprised of Night Elves, Humans, Dwarves, the Draenei, the Worgen and Gnomes. A new race, the Pandaren, are free to chose either faction. Each race has a certain number of classes it can play that tailor to that race’s natural attributes.

WoW has a tremendous team focus, especially at higher levels, relying on the “holy trifecta” (tank, healer, DPS) to take down large dungeons and bosses. If you’re interested in solo play, WoW boasts the largest amount of quests and expansions ever released.

World of Tanks

World of Tanks is a 3D, team-based MMO shooter where players take control of mid-20th century era fighting tanks.  Gameplay in World of Tanks requires a lot of teamwork and strategy.  There are over a hundred completely unique tanks to choose from and up to sixty players per battle.  World of Tanks offers tactical gameplay and conflicts of epic proportions.

In World of Tanks, you are put in command of your very own World War 2 era battle tank.  WoT is a team-based game where two sides of up to thirty players each compete to destroy all opposing vehicles.  The many combat vehicles in the game are modeled after American, German, Soviet and British designs.  The game offers an in-depth gaming experience that is sure to get your blood pumping.

The tank-based shooter is developed by Wargaming.net, a Russian studio behind several other historically themed video games.  World of Tanks is their first free-to-play title, and they?ve come in swinging strong.  World of Tanks boasts great graphics, ease of play, and plenty of customization features.  The publishers promise a historically accurate setting and action-oriented gameplay.  RPG elements also make an appearance, as players will be able to upgrade their tanks with new parts and crew members.  New recruits start with a light German or Soviet tank, but after accumulating experience and credits, they will be able to upgrade to heavier models.  Additionally, it will be possible to upgrade individual parts such as turrets, chassis, engines, guns, radios, and ammunition types.

World of Tanks was first commissioned in 2009 and put into service in the second half of 2010.  It is built upon a freemium business model where participants only have to pay for optional features. The focus is on player vs. player gameplay with each player controlling a tank or armored vehicle.

CCP has placed a huge priority on character customization and development by hiring a fashion consultant The in-game fighting will also be minimized in order to encourage a more diplomatic style of gameplay. Factions and territories will play a significant role in WoD.
