One of the most anticipated updates in MMORPG history finally arrives today as Square Enix release patch 2.51 for the award-winning MMORPG game, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. Patch 2.51 introduces the long-awaited Manderville Gold Saucer to the realm of Eorzea, bringing with it an exciting selection of mini-games and activities reminiscent of the iconic Gold Saucer segment in the legendary Final Fantasy VII.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn players can now look forward to a plethora of entertaining side activities in the Manderville Gold Saucer including one of the most popular mini-games in the Final Fantasy franchise, the famous card game from Final Fantasy VIII Triple Triad.
Other events include Chocobo Racing , many of the arcade style mini-games from the original Gold Saucer and new Gold Saucer Active Time Events (“GATEs”), a series of dynamic encounters that will see players take part in various multiplayer activities with a comical twist.
