A non-disclosure agreement (NDA), also known as a confidentiality agreement (CA), confidential disclosure agreement (CDA), proprietary information agreement (PIA), or secrecy agreement, is a legal contract between at least two parties that outlines confidential material, knowledge, or information that the parties wish to share with one another for certain purposes, but wish to restrict access to or by third parties.
Whoa there, that’s far too much typing for me, i’ll be breaking whatever agreement i’m agreeing to anyways. A non-disclosure agreement basically just means that as a tester, you agree to not talk about what you’re seeing during the testing phase, and in turn the company decides to trust you enough that you can see behind the scenes and into the inner workings of the game.
You could be pretty hardcore and strictly abide by the NDA, or you could intentionally break it and tell everyone you know about it. But sometime’s it’s not so black and white. Maybe you’re playing the game while your friend is over, that technically breaks the NDA, or maybe you casually mention something to your brother about the game, that’s breaking NDA too.
So what about you? Do you adhere to the strict guidelines of an NDA? Do you take break the NDA unknowingly and think nothing of it? Or do you blatantly disregard all the rules!
