PlayStation 4 players are invited to sign up for the exciting Closed Beta debut of Rocket League, a fast-paced sports-action game that’s set to take the competitive world by storm. Developed by the globally renowned team behind the likes of Nosgoth, Psyonix, Rocket League is a sequel to the 2008 PlayStation 3 title of similar style, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.
Psyonix announced that they have a limited amount of Closed Beta access codes for players in both Europe and North America, with priority given on a first-come, first-served basis. Beginning April 24th and running through until an undisclosed date in early May, Rocket League’s first bout of Closed Beta testing is designed to test some of the games more vital elements including server performance and match-making.
The game expands on the original in every way possible with vastly improved graphics, a more robust physics system, an extensive addition in the form of the new Season Mode, in-depth car customization options and a fully supported multiplayer action experience that rewards individual ability and talent equally alongside team play and communication. Players interested in participating in Closed Beta testing can register their interest on the official website here.
