The next national event in the Starcraft 2 World Champion Series will be held in London, England. The top 16 British Starcraft 2 players will be competing for a $15,000 USD prize pool, which is funded by Blizzard themselves, and three slots in the Europe Finals. The event will be broadcasted live from the BAFTA building on Piccadilly and the well-known casters, Nicolas ?Tasteless? Plott and Daniel ?Artosis? Stemkoski will be there commentating .
The event will be held on June 30th and July 1st and is expected to attract over 1,000 spectators. The tickets to watch the events are free and cane be reserved for both days of the event from the www.esl.eu/uk/ website. The purpose of the event is to find the best Starcraft 2 player in the world. Each player receives an all-expense paid trip to the UK by winning the open qualifiers that was hosted by the Electronic Sports League website.
The winners from the World Champion Series in London will move onto the Europe Finals which will be held in September.
