This morning, ArenaNet and NCsoft have announced the dates for the first public beta weekend for Guild Wars 2.
From April 27th through April 29th, players who have pre-purchased any edition of the game from buy.guildwars2.com/ or another selected retailer can explore the world of Tyria before everyone else. Eligible players will be receiving an email from ArenaNet containing instructions on how to install and access the game client.
