Today Hi-Rez Studios is celebrating the first anniversary of SMITE’s official launch. Many of you know that SMITE took it’s sweet time in development, nearly 4 years, so celebrating this one year anniversary may seem a bit strange. To celebrate the past year, SMITE has scheduled a bunch of promotions which include all playable Gods being free over the coming weekend.
From Saturday March 28th to Sunday March 29th, all Gods in the game will be free to use, and will earn worshippers at two times the current rate, which bonus gems for each successful game you play. In addition to having all Gods free, the Ultimate God Pack, which features all current and future Gods, will be reduced in price.
Hi-Rez is also holding a Reddit AMA at 10:00AM PST, which is basically right as i’m posting this, that will focus on the upcoming Xbox One version of SMITE which is currently in closed Alpha.
