League of Legends asking for support for fellow summoner and Make-a-Wish

Want to support a good cause? League of Legends is calling out to fellow summoners to do so. Riot Games is teaming up with the Make-a-Wish Foundation in order to support a 17-year-old boy, Joe, who has been playing League of Legends for a couple of years along with some of his friends who reside in Westchester, PA.?Joe has been battling Ewing?s Sarcoma, a rare type of cancerous bone tumor that affects thousands of children around the world. He plays this game in order to stay in contact with his friends while he undergoes treatment.

Riot Games was inspired by Joe’s visit to the Miami HQ, which Riot Games and Make-a-Wish made possible, and wanted to do more to help more children’s wishes come true.

In order to help out the cause, Riot Games has cut the price of Jax and a Jaxius skin by 50% for other summoners to purchase in support of the Make-a-Wish Foundation. The duration of this would be from May 4th until May 18th @ 10:30am PST. The purchase of this character will help many kids be able to see their wish come true.
