Netmarble have just announced the immediate release of a highly anticipated update for their high seas MMORPG, Uncharted Waters Online. The historical MMO has continued to grow in popularity over the years, thanks to a regular variety of updates and new content releases, but this latest announcement could blow previous updates out of the water.
The latest update, Tierra American Chapter, adds the West Indian Company as well as several other buildings, skills and experience bonuses for colonies. Company Improvements
Trial Membership has been added, allowing new players to try the game alongside their friends.
Open invitations will help larger companies that have accumulated over 100,000 fame points to attract more members via an automated system as the company house.
Easy enrollment has been added to allow existing company members to invite their friends without having to return to a NPC.
Free Ships
Players that are enjoying the Trial Membership will be given the opportunity to explore the high seas thanks to the introduction of new free ships for starting players.
New Pets
Exploring the colonies has never been more exciting as players can add another four pets to their collection.
PvP fans can also expect a new game mode in the form of 2v2 duels, improving on the previous selection of 5v5 and 10v10. The small scale warfare will offer a variety of different tactical situations when compared with the large-scale combat
