Fans of the award-winning post-apocalyptic RPG franchise Fallout have been craving an MMO adaptation for a long time and although Bethesda are not involved, the opportunity to enjoy an online Fallout experience is nearly upon us with the upcoming release of FOnline 2. Fallout fans can expect to enjoy a nostalgia filled journey down memory lane as they fight, co-operate and discover a fan-filled world based on the original Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 video-games.
FOnline 2 takes place in 2237, just 4 years prior to the events that took place in Fallout 2. The game boasts many of the elements that have made the franchise so loved among the wider gaming community including an intriguing main quest line, the opportunity to explore and interact with the world whenever you see fit, and a variety of MMO-esque features designed to heighten the experience including factions, bases, crafting, trading and more.
The team behind the game, imaginatively named FOnline 2 Team, will give fans the opportunity to explore the game in full, and for free, on October 25th at 8PM GMT+1. Previous players can expect “massive content” and “many new features” to arrive with the new session.
