In 2010, gaming publisher Nexon released a game that would have me hooked for the next year. It had all I wanted from arcade style beat-em-up gameplay to anime inspired characters with amazing class upgrades. However, after playing mission after mission, those charms dulled out and dungeon fighter would become nothing but an icon on my desktop. Now it’s 2012 and Dungeon Fighter came back into my life, but instead it’s on Xbox LIVE. This “reboot” ,as I like to call it, goes by the name Dungeon Fighter LIVE: Fall Of Hendon Myre.
Dungeon Fighter LIVE: Fall Of Hendon Myre is a 4 player co-op game where you can play as 1 of 3 classes:
The Slayer: A swordsman of the highest caliber, doomed to carry with him the demon Kazan, who possesses his body.
The Fighter: A gladiator who thrives in close-range hand-to-hand combat, in which she exploits a wide assortment of bone-shattering fighting techniques.
The Gunner:Tall and lithe, a Gunner marks his targets from afar and then blows them away with every kind of firearm imaginable.
In the game you will have the pleasure to embark on unique dungeons while fighting off hordes of monsters. Each dungeon you explore offers unique challenges and requires a different strategy. The deeper you delve into the dungeons, the more monsters you?ll have to defeat. You can also create and enchant items to defeat stronger enemies! If you don’t need a certain item, you can trade items with other players for more customization options, and to help a fellow fighter, of course.
Dungeon Fighter LIVE: Fall Of Hendon Myre hits its way to the Xbox Marketplace on July 13!
