Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen may have failed its initial attempts at securing enough funding for full development but that’s not the end of the journey for Brad McQuaid and Visionary Realms. The latest announcement from the Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen team includes a new demo prototype video showcasing the current features, textures, animations and content available in the game.
Brad McQuaid prefixed the video with a warning that the game is still in very early stages of development but they needed to get it out “ASAP” for currently undisclosed reasons although it’s probably safe to assume it’s related to investors and their effort to attract more funding.
Very rough first draft of longer video, using latest build
(4/11/14). Has some texture errors (purple stuff) in one section. Needs
work, but is better than nothing and shows how far we got on the
prototype/demo. I plan on making a demo #2, more thought out, polished,
ambient music, etc., but this needed to go out ASAP for a variety of
reasons.
