Today Asiasoft Online announced the launch of the long-awaited fantasy MMORPG, Ragnarok Online 2: Legend of the Second (RO2). The announcement came at the Licence2Play 2012 event which was held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The launch of the game will be the world’s first English service for the unexpected sequel.
Ragnarok Online 2 will continu where Ragnarok left off, the heroes with fragments of the Heart of Ymir will now follow the path of their forefathers as they travel through a unique world of drama and adventure. This new 3D MMORPG is developed by Gravity Co., Ltd. and uses the Gamebryo Engine which will add a glorious 3D environment to an already world famous sequel.
The game will feature many improvements to the original. Improvements to the Card and Kafra systems will be used in addition to new highlights like the Dual Life System, Social Emotes and the Khara System.

The Closed Beta test for Ragnarok Online 2 will run from Decmber 7th through 12th and Open Beta will begin on December 27th.
