It is with a heavy heart that I announce to you this morning that BattleForge is shutting down. Just kidding, I do not have a heavy heart, but yes, it is true that BattleForge is shutting down. Announced via their website yesterday, a short and sweet post thanked players for their support of the game over the past 4 years and let them know that they are encouraged to spend the balance of their in-game currency before the game is shut down. It should probably come as no surprise to fans of the game, as there have been very few updates to the game and the site over the past 6 months. BattleForge will cease services on October 31st.
