We’re less than 3 months away from Funcom’s upcoming Early Access launch of Conan Exiles, an open-world survival game based in the iconic Conan universe, and today the developers have announced an exciting partnership with Nvidia. The announcement is accompanied by a breathtaking gallery of brand new screenshots utilizing an exciting new technology that lets players explore the screenshots in a 360 degree fashion.

The glorious new screenshots can be viewed in full on the Nvidia Gallery so be sure to check them out. Funcom and Nvidia will be teaming up to implement the cutting-edge Ansel that will let players take their own 360 degree screenshots in-game. The screenshots will support various VR platforms including the Vive, Oculus Rift and mobile VR.

“We want to make sure the game is available to as many people as possible from the very start of Early Access. Releasing a game into Early Access means building a community of players around it that helps us as developers realize the full potential of the game. The more people we can include in that process, the better it will be for the game and for the players.” Funcom CEO Rui Casais

Conan Exiles will be launching in Early Access in January of next year and will support 11 languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
