BioWare’s 4v1 MMO Shadow Realms Cancelled

BioWare Austin today confirmed recent rumors surrounding the state of its 4v1 action-based MMO, Shadow Realms, confirming that the game has indeed been cancelled. According to the reports that first surfaced yesterday a source close to the BioWare Austin team stated that the game was going through huge changes and has been completely revamped since last year. Other sources stated different information from a similar source that led many to believe the game would be cancelled.

It was confirmed earlier today by , that Shadow Realms has been shelved in favor of developing new titles in the BioWare universe, developing content for their current titles, such as Star Wars: The Old Republic and Dragon Age: Inquisition, and to make way for new IP’s and a “massive year” in the Star Wars franchise.
