Riot Games have announced that they’re currently hiring positions within the eSports community as they search for the next League of Legends shoutcaster. If you’re not familiar with the term it’s basically the eSports version of a typical sporting commentator, with players calling what they see in charismatic fashion. League of Legends is currently the most played game on PC, attracting over 32 million players every month offering a great opportunity for anyone that wants to get their name into the eSports mix.
You’ll need a huge amount of experience with League of Legends itself and you must be well versed in the eSports community. Can’t tell the differences between an LCS and LPL? Then this position is probably not for you.
There’s no mention of compensation or pay listed on the official post but as Riot Games was recently declared the 4th best tech company to work for, you can be sure they’ll do something to make it worth your while.
If you think you’ve got what it takes you can apply for the US position here, while EU members can visit the EU page here.
