EA Wins ?Worst Company in America? award

Electronic Arts has won the consumerist ?Worst Company in America? award after a poll was done where more then 250,000 people voted. After fighting for the award with companies such as Bank of America, Sony, Apple and Walmart, EA was claimed the worst. With 64% of the votes in the final round against Bank of America, EA must be ecstatic.

In a statement provided to Joystiq EA’s Corporate Communications senior director John Reseburg was quoted saying, ?We’re sure that bank presidents, oil, tobacco, and weapons companies are all relieved they weren’t on the list this year. We’re going to continue making award-winning games and services played by more than 300 million people worldwide.? This statement alone is enough to show you the lack of communication EA has with its customers. The hope is that EA will recognize they have to improve on their customer support and feedback if they want to continue being a successful company.
