While the follow-up to 2010’s Wii-exclusive Epic Mickey had been rumored for some time now, we finally have an article from Associated Press spilling the beans on Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two today. And although the new details mostly match what we’d heard, the biggest news comes as a total surprise: the game will be a musical.
Other juicy new details include co-operative play, an improved camera system, as well as the fact that the game will see release on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 in addition to the Wii. Along with the upgrade to HD will come full voice acting for Mickey and Oswald, the games two playable characters.
You can check out all the details, as well as some words from Mr. Warren Spector over on AP. Meanwhile, I’m going to go figure out exactly how you make a game into a musical.
