Hot off the presses from this years EuroGamer Expo (EGX) comes exciting news surrounding a free trial week for Guild Wars 2 alongside a brand new roadmap highlighting the journey to the 2014 Guild Wars 2 World Tournament Series Championships. A weeklong free trial event for Guild Wars 2 begins today, September 25th, at 12:00AM PDT and will last until 11:59PM PDT on October 1st. During that time the official ArenaNet store will be selling digital copies of Guild Wars 2 at a 50% discount price.
The 2014 Guild Wars 2 World Tournament Series Championships gives players from North America, Europe and China the opportunity to prove their mettle in a series of exciting events with a staggering $50,000 prize pool and the title of the first ever WTS Champion up for grabs. The tournament announcement follows the end of the opening round of the competition with the final scheduled to begin on December 4th in Beijing.
