Today marks the end of a long wait for action MMO fans as MAIET Entertainment confirm the Steam Early Access launch for the highly anticipated GunZ 2: The Second Duel. The original GunZ game attracted players with its combination of fine-tuned third-person shooter mechanics and unique parkour movement and abilities, creating an incredibly acrobatic action shooter that returned the MMOTPS genre to its very roots, relying on skill and individual ability over than of run and gun twitch skills.
“I am very excited to introduce the sequel title right when GunZ the Duel is having its 10th anniversary,” said MAIET Entertainment CEO Venister.
“Though we’re nervous and excited to release and operate online game service on our own for the first time, it meant a great deal to us to prepare game service on Steam, one of world’s biggest game publishing platform.”
GunZ 2: The Second Duel builds on the success of the original will all new and improved matchmaking, a lengthy campaign that you can play with friends, and dozens of new weapons.
The game will launch on Steam Early Access later today, February 17th, and will feature as early access for “several weeks or months” until the developers feel it’s ready for an official launch.
