No BlizzCon In 2012 Due To "Jam-Packed Schedule"

In a rather shocking turn of events, Blizzard Entertainment announced that there will not be a BlizzCon this year.  BlizzCon is the event that Blizzard Entertainment (creators of WarCraft, StarCraft, and Diablo) has been putting on since 2005.  The only other time Blizzard has cancelled the annual event was the 2006 show.  BlizzCon is the event Blizzard shows off it’s new games to it’s fans.  The schedule conflict must be due to Blizzard currently working on Diablo III, World of WarCraft: Mists of Pandaria, and the Titan MMO project that has yet to be fully revealed.  For gamers wanting to get their LAN on, there’s always QuakeCon in August.
