Currently Pay-to-Play Sci-Fi Licenced MMORPG, Star Trek Online will become free-to-play officially on January 17th, as the last bug fixes and feature additions are made to the game?s servers to roll out the free update. January 17th is the day these updates will occur, so it may not be until January 18th that players get access, but the process will hopefully go smoothly for all players. Not soon after, in February, the game will celebrate it?s second anniversary, adding a new KDF flagship and an Odyssey-class Federation ship. In June, the game?s 6th Season will begin and the game will see frequent updates during it?s free-to-play run. The official blog post by developer Cryptic can be found here.
