Zenimax Online Studios today announced the official release for the highly anticipated expansion for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited, one that will see players finally given the opportunity to explore the iconic environment of The Imperial City. The developers took the servers for the PC version offline earlier today, at 8AM Eastern / 5AM Pacific. This means the game will be unavailable to play on the PC platform for an “indeterminate” amount of time.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited team have suggested players check the official forums and social media accounts for information and updates relating to the current downtime and when players can expect to dive into The Imperial City.
The expansion will give players hours of new content and compelling story missions as they explore the legendary Imperial City for the first time in the online adaptation of the award-winning franchise. Additional improvements to Veteran Ranks, a new currency for better gear & equipment, brand new dungeons and never-before-seen enemies.
