At last months E3 event Behaviour Interactive and Games Workshop unveiled the latest upcoming addition to the massive Warhammer franchise with Warhammer 40,000: Eternal Crusade and today we’ve got some exciting new information! The information comes in the form of a newly released FAQ published on the games official website. It doesn’t give away everything, but there’s enough to sink your teeth into.
The following armies have been confirmed for launch appearances: Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, Orks, Eldar and Tyranids, although Tyranids will only exist as an NPC faction, not playable at launch. They have also announced that the game will not feature typical class-based MMORPG progression and crafting will take an important role, but not in the typical sense.
They confirmed the previously announced 2015 release date and the developers also said that the game will feature both a closed and open beta event. We know the game is releasing on both the PC and next-generation of consoles, but they’ve yet to say which fan-base will gain access to beta events or if there’s a certain priority order in place.
