Ghost Recon Future Soldier gets PC release date

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, the next game in Ubisoft?s highly successful Tom Clancy franchise, is set to release on PC June 15, with PC features revealed.

The third-person tactical shooter gives players the chance to join a Ghost team, elite futuristic special-ops soldiers, as they attempt to throttle a war waging across the globe. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is the fourth game in the Ghost Recon series, and will feature enhanced gameplay and updated graphics.

PC players with a DirectX 11 capable graphics card will be rewarded with unprecedented graphics for the series, such as shader-based realistic lighting and tessellation, which will give the PC players a better visual experience compared to their console-based counterparts. It will also have multi-monitor support for an all-round experience, as well as other social benefits such as multiplayer party management enhanced with the UPlay friend system and widget.

The Ghost Recon: Future Soldier is set to release June 15, nearly a month after the May 25th release date for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. The game will also be releasing on the Wii U once the next-generation console makes its debut. Ubisoft is currently preparing the closed public beta set to start early this month.
