Bioware has released its first multiplayer expansion for Mass Effect 3 called Operation Resurgence. This is a free DLC that adds new maps, characters, weapons and consumables. The Firebase Condor and the Firebase Hydra will be available immediately for gameplay. If you play this weekend on the Resurgence Pack, you will be awarded an additional 10% experience while playing on the two Firebase maps.
Although this expansion is currently only available on Xbox and PC, Bioware has said ?unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer our Multiplayer Challenge weekends on PlayStation 3. Sony has not yet approved the promotion. We continue to work with them to find a compromise.? So we should see the expansion available for PS3 users in the near future. The event will run from Friday, April 13th at 5pm PST to Monday, April 16th at 5AM PST.
