Following today’s maintenance World of Warcraft players will finally have the opportunity to get their hands on the highly sought after WoW Token – a new system introduced by Blizzard to allow for alternative payment options involving subscriptions. The WoW Token’s can now be purchased in-game for $20 USD/$25 AUD from a special shop, with in-game prices currently set at 30,000 gold in the Auction House. From this point forward the price of WoW Token’s will vary and fluctuate as the supply and demand flattens out.
Players will only be able to purchase 10 WoW Token’s within a 30-day period, although they have assured players that this will be adjusted if its felt to be beneficial. Coinciding with the in-game release of WoW Token’s Blizzard have also released a new video introducing players to the various elements involved in dealing with WoW Token’s including price, availability, purpose and exchanges.
