Carbine Studios lifted the veil of mystery surrounding the upcoming WildStar update today with more information on the two new chapters of content, the Mystery of Genesis Prime and Journey to OMNIcore-1. The Mystery of the Genesis Prime promises to be a treat for end-game players as a brand new level 50 area, the Defile, will be introduced alongside brand new quests, exciting new rewards and challenging enemies to face. Today’s announcement was accompanied by a new trailer highlighting the Mystery of Genesis Prime, which can you watch below:
Additionally players can also look forward to exploring five “must-see” locations within The Defile:
The Sonic Plaza – One of the first areas of The Defile that players will get to explore. Perfect for the solo player The Sonic Plaza boasts a variety of quests, Path Missions and libraries of Lore.
The Siege of the Lightspire – The Lightspire is under grave threat and it’s up to you to save it. The infamous Isigrol the Dreadwatcher is said to be in the area so bring plenty of friends in this epic 20 player Public Event.
The Black Focus – For those looking for slightly smaller, skill-based skirmish options, the Black Focus provides the perfect location. Plenty of 5+ player world content awaits including various boss battles and difficult encounters.
