Hex: Shards Of Fate Expansion Introduces 200 New Cards

It’s an exciting day for Hex: Shards Of Fate fans as HEX Entertainment and Gameforge today announced the release of the second card set for the closed beta MMOTCG, in the Shattered Destiny update. One of many updates for HEX Entertainment’s digital card game, currently in a freely accessible closed beta under 7 different languages, Shattered Destiny introduces a variety of new cards, five new heroes, new abilities and further localization options.

One of the most notable elements of the new update in the new tunneling feature, giving players the strategic opportunity to play their cards without revealing them to their opponent, hiding any special abilities that can now be deployed in more varied and exciting ways. The developers have also continued to bridge the game between the physical and digital worlds with the introduction of the Subterranean Spy card, a card that unlocks the ability to spy on an opponents hand without revealing your movements.

Further improvements have been made to the socketing system. Preciously some cards were limited to a single socket but now they can be socketed multiple times – introducing additional abilities to use in combat.

Hex: Shards of Fate is currently in a closed beta capacity but offers free, immediate access via the official website.
