Lord British and the development team over at Portalarium today published the first update letter of the new year for the highly anticipated MMORPG title, Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues. Richard Garriott and his team originally asked for $1 million funding on Kickstarter but snowballed during the later days, attracting over 22,000 backers and $1.9 million in funding. Since that time further donations have been made via other outlets, increasing the pool to almost $3 million.
Today the development team released a newsletter that includes some exciting information on an array of Shroud of the Avatar topics including:
