Bioware today announced that they will be retiring old character names from free-to-play and Preferred Status players in Star Wars: The Old Republic.
During the PAX Community Cantina event last month Bioware released a teaser trailer that led many to believe space combat was on the way.

Bioware’s executive producer, Jeff Hickman, has written in the latest blog post for Star Wars: The Old Republic and has revealed that the MMORPG will add same-gender romance options with the upcoming expansion, Rise of the Hutt Cartel.
Star Wars: The Old Republic, abbreviated as TOR or SWTOR, is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game based in the Star Wars universe.

As of November 15th, SWTOR has been launched as a free-to-play option for the game. Bioware has just released a new trailer that is called “A Galaxy of Possibilities” in order to help promote the move that they have made to F2P.

Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes from BioWare offers an extreme, fast-paced experience which focuses purely on PvP combat. Based off the popular Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Wrath of Heroes drops the quests and places players in the arena.
Three teams of six players are pit against each other with the ultimate goal of crushing the opposition. Players have a selection of 10 different heroes to choose from which players can swap between mid-match to optimize circumstances. New spells and moves can be unlocked as characters progress via each character’s skill tree.
With a look that is reminiscent of the World of Warcraft series, this MOBA boasts quick, high intensity games with a variety of gametypes including Capture the Flag and classic Deathmatch. Don’t let the gorgeous graphics fool you, this game offers as brutal a beating as any game out there. Players who don’t pay attention or lack the required skill could easily be swallowed up in the chaos.

Well Mass Effect 3 ending skeptics, looks like you guys got what you were looking for. BioWare has announced its Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut which is a free download for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 that addresses the controversial ending to the game. It provides “additional cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes” to the ending, and launches this summer.
The Mass Effect 3 ending controversy has been quite the hot topic as fans argue over who is right (everyone is right), but a group of fans have hit BioWare with a great metaphor for the ending. A group of fans have sent BioWare 400 cupcakes that are colored red, blue, and green to symbolize the three colors of the endings.
