Phosphor Games and Nether Productions recently released an exciting new update that sees the debut of tribes, territories and titties in the exciting world of the survival MMORPG game, Nether. Building on the previously released Tribes system, basically a guild or faction feature, players and their allies are now able to battle over contested territories for additional resources and power for their Tribe. 10 new buildings have been created, each of which can be captured and defended by any currently active and logged in Tribe. Tribes are now also able to unlock their own base of operations along with a new, Tribes-exclusive skill tree.
Accompanying the exciting changes made to the Tribes feature is the introduction of arguably the most sought after feature since the games launch, female characters. Rather inappropriately named titties in the title of this article, the introduction of female characters ensures the survival of the human race and unlocks a whole new list of in-game possibilities for players. Damsel in distress trap anyone?
Other features of the new update include a new player tutorial, new Golden Chests, an expanded loot and inventory system, and new spawning options that allow players to spawn outside of Safe Zones.
“By adding territory wars, Nether expands
upon the survival genre by offering players more gameplay options than
just scavenging, fighting creatures and fellow survivalists, and
crafting,” said Chip Sineni, Creative Director at Phosphor Games. “Tribe
battles will give combatants a whole new bevy of challenges and
strategies in order to maintain control of strongholds and navigate the
tumultuous world safely.”
