Blizzard to release an art book this October

On October 10th, 2012, Blizzard intends to release a 352-page hardcover book called, The Art of Blizzard. The book will collect over 700 pieces of art from the games that have defined them as who they are, StarCraft, World of Warcraft and Diablo. The book has a retail value of $75.00, so if you buy the book, you are willing to spend more on a book about Blizzard rather than buy one of their games. You can find it on Amazon for cheaper here: http://www.amazon.com/The-Art-Blizzard-Nick-Carpenter/dp/1608870278

We all know Blizzard has made a huge impact on the world of gaming over 20 years, so this would be an interesting book to get if you were always a fan of Blizzard and their games. Not only will there be art, there will be commentary from Blizzard’s Vice President of Art and Cinematic Development Nick Carpenter, Senior Art Director Sam Didier, and Senior Story VP Chris Metzen. The book features some goodies all the way back to 1991.
