The internet was treated to footage from a localized version of Kingdom Under Fire II in Thailand yesterday but today English speaking fans everywhere finally got the confirmation they had longed for. MMOG.asia today revealed the “experience beta test” event for arguably one of the most anticipated sequels in the genre as the West will finally get their hands on Kingdom Under Fire II.
The game will be playable January 23rd through to January 26th from 18:00 to 00:00 (+8 GMT) every night. It’s not quite the full access pass that players were hoping for but I don’t expect to hear many complaints considering fans have been waiting for almost a decade.
Kingdom Under Fire II will feature both single-player campaigns and an MMO-esque online multiplayer mode that will see players test their strategic and combat mettle against others from around the world. There’s still time to sign up but it’s unclear whether it’s a closed or open beta event, we’ll update you if we hear more.
