Notch unveils Mojang?s faux next game, Mars Effect, in time for April Fools day, complete with website and great humor.
In amongst the news for the title, Notch describes the discussion on coming up with the game?s new title, stating ?we finally decided not to learn from previous experiences and pick a name that’s already kind of in use by a huge existing franchise.?
The game?s features include a fully working computer system, waist high walls and ?a game ending that makes sense?. Clearly, Notch knows how to target the market with his well-researched features that he knows quite a few gamers want.
Unfortunately there are currently no screenshots for the presumed made up game – although this is Notch, after all, so there may be something up his sleeve yet. However, considering Notch?s Mars Effect tweet caused Twitter to explode with the #MarsEffect tag, even if he doesn?t necessarily have something, we might be lucky if he decides to throw in a little extra.
