Our Summer Steam Sale Picks

Hey Attackers, if you’re a PC gamer there’s a good chance you’ve been helping yourself to some sweet, sweet discounts courtesy of the Steam Summer Sale. It’s a fantastic time for gamers to round out their libraries with a bunch of titles that they will probably never play. On the flipside, it can be a terrible time for your wallet–especially if you start your shopping spree like I do and automatically buy anything on your wishlist under $10. Whether you remember putting it there or not. Since we’re already a few days into this year’s sale we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to point out a few titles that are a steal at their current sale prices.

Mount & Blade: Warband

WarBand Official Release Day Trailer Re-cut

This is a game we’ve written about before and with good reason. Mount & Blade: Warband is a true diamond in the rough and at only $4.99 there’s no real risk involved. Come for the 64 man multiplayer battles and stay for the cavalry charges.

Black Desert Online

Black Desert Online is a game that’s always in the news, for one thing or another. Whether it’s the release of a new class, like the striker shown above, or its Xbox One X announcement at E3–it’s not one to rest on its laurels. It’s updated regularly and boasts a unique take on the genre. If you’re a hardcore MMO player then you owe it to yourself to check out its action based combat and sleek presentation. Right now, you can snag the game for $7.99 which is 20% off.

Minecraft: Story Mode

Minecraft: Story Mode [Minecon 2015 Trailer]

The final game we want to spotlight here is Minecraft: Story Mode. It’s true that Telltale can be hit or miss–from one game to another or even from episode to episode. But their take on Minecraft is currently sporting mostly positive reviews and the whole first season is available for only $6.24. If you’re a fan of Minecraft or of games with prominent narratives, then you should check it out.

You’ll have until July 5th to take advantage of deals on these games and many, many others. Just try to leave yourself enough money for the necessities. And be sure to check back here often for more gaming news, updates, and giveaways.
