Just in time for Easter weekend developers Perfect World Entertainment announce the official, long-awaited release of the Xbox One version of the free-to-play MMORPG game based in the Dungeons & Dragons universe, Neverwinter.
It’s sure to receive a positive welcome from the Xbox One community following unexpected delays of several other highly anticipated console MMO titles such as World of Cars and The Elder Scrolls Online. According to the press release the development team worked tirelessly alongside the publishers to keep the game on course and meet its intended release date.
”Our development team has worked relentlessly to ensure that the ‘Neverwinter’ experience lives up to console player’s expectations for a high-quality free-to-play MMORPG. We’re excited to welcome players to the Forgotten Realms and continue to build on their experience as we release updates throughout the year.”
Neverwinter for Xbox One is now available in 33 regions across Europe, North America and South America, as a free download for Xbox Live Gold members. Players can expect almost a direct port of the original Neverwinter PC title that launched in 2013, accompanied by additional features included in the Tyranny of Dragons expansion.
